Paving Operations on Pennsylvania Avenue on September 10th

The City of Cumberland Engineering Department, on behalf of Belt Paving, would like to notify the public that paving operations will be occurring on Pennsylvania Avenue (between Oldtown Road and Fourth Street) on Thursday, September 10 and Friday, September 11. Traffic control devices will be set up as needed to direct traffic around the paving operations. Parking will be restricted in the area each day starting at 6:00AM and concluding at 6:00PM. No Parking signs will be in place to notify residents.

Residents are advised to avoid this area as much as possible during these days to allow the work to be completed safely and successfully. The Engineering Department will issue further notification if the paving duration needs to be extended or changed due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Thank you for your cooperation during this time. Please use caution in the area and follow all traffic control devices that will be in place.
