Pedestrian Bridge Reconstruction Starts This Month

The Bel Air pedestrian bridge will have its reconstruction started in mid-June. County Engineer Dan Dewitt says the long-awaited construction will replace a connection between Bel Air Elementary and play fields and the local neighborhood. “The local shared money that the Board of Ed had programmed years ago to tie with state funding – which was $80,000 – that local share will be more than enough to cover any expense we have.”
