Police Blotter For Tuesday
On Monday, August 24, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Caitlin Michelle Gonzalez. The summons was issued as the result of a private citizen filing charges against Gonzalez at the District Court of Allegany County. Gonzalez was released pending trial.

On Monday, August 24, 2026 an officer of the Cumberland Police Department observed Kimberley Ann Carnley on the property of a Baltimore St. residence. The property was clearly and conspicuously posted with no trespassing signs. Carnley was issued a criminal citation for trespassing on posted property and released pending trial.

On Monday August 24, 2026 officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to N. Mechanic St. for a disturbance. The alleged victim reported that Irving Charles Fletcher Jr. had been threatening them and another person in the residence. The alleged victim reported that Fletcher had retrieved a knife from the kitchen, pointed the knife at them, and came at them with the knife. Fletcher was arrested after an investigation was conducted by the Cumberland Police Department. He was seen by a District Court Commissioner for initial appearance and was is currently being held at the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.

On Tuesday, August 25, 2026 officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to Hilltop Dr. for a disturbance. The alleged victim reported that Ericka Adele Holloway had entered the residence without permission. Holloway was still inside the residence when officers arrived. The alleged victim reported that Holloway had entered the property without permission and had refused to leave when instructed by the victim. Holloway was placed under arrest after an investigation was conducted. She is currently awaiting an initial appearance with a District Court Commissioner.
