Potomac State College to Host “Day of Giving”

This will be the third year Potomac State College participates in West Virginia University’s “Day of Giving.” Wednesday, March 25th, money can be donated through dayofgiving.wvu.edu/potomacstate. If 125 gifts are given to the General Athletics Fund in celebration of the college’s 125th year, $10,000 will be unlocked for a match, according to Development Director Megan Webb. If $5,000 is reached for the Catherine Parish Memorial Nursing Scholarship, a donation is promised for it as well…
“We have a generous donor who’s pledged to provide $12,000 to add to this scholarship. So, every gift matters. Every donation counts. The minimum donation value is $5 so everybody can participate.”
