Rail Crossings Will Be Closed May 4 & 5

The City of Cumberland Engineering Department, on behalf of CSX, would like to notify the public that the Beall Street Crossing, N. Mechanic Street Crossing, and N. Centre Street Crossing will be closed to thru traffic on Monday, May 4th and Tuesday, May 5th from 8:00AM to 8:00 PM.
Signage will be in place to detour passenger vehicles around the road closures. Additionally, flagging operations will occur on Kelly Road near the overhead crossing.
Traffic is expected to be restored by 8:00PM on May 5th for the crossings affected.
Additional information will be released in the event the closure duration needs to be extended.
