Red Cross Blood Supply in Urgent Need

The nation is seeing severe blood shortage as requests from hospitals exceed the available supply, leading to about a 35% drawdown of blood products in the past month.  In order to dodge delays in lifesaving care, the American Red Cross asks individuals to give, especially O, A negative and B negative blood types.  Those who give through Jan. 25, 2026, will be entered for a chance to win a trip for two to Super Bowl LX in Santa Clara, California.  See RedCrossBlood.org/SuperBowl for full details.
