Search Continuing For Preservation Planner

A second round of job postings has been released as the City of Cumberland continues to search for a new Historic Preservation Planner. Ruth Davis-Rogers left the position at the end of the year to return to her home in Calvert County. Resumes have been received, but the search has been extended to include more national recruitment options, according to City Administrator Jeff Silka…

“Hopefully we can get that position replaced very quickly, but I’m not doing it for speed. I want to make sure we get the right person for the job. If it takes two more or three more months, we’ll do it to make sure that we have the right hire for there.”
