Senate President Supports Tariff Refund Request

Maryland Governor Moore along with Comptroller Brooke Lierman and State Treasurer Dereck Davis have formally demanded the Trump administration reimburse tariff revenues imposed on state consumers and businesses. Since the tariffs were deemed unconstitutional, a letter asks that $4 billion dollars be remitted to the Comptroller so the state may implement an orderly and equitable refund process.
