Several Delegation Members Boycotting Trump Speech

There will be empty seats from the Maryland federal delegation when President Trump gives his State of the Union message on Tuesday.  Both Senator Chris Van Hollen and Congresswoman April McClain Delaney have announced they will instead attend a People’s State of the Union event on the National Mall.  Representatives Kweisi Mfume and Jamie Raskin also said they would not attend the speech. Democrats are planning on filling the audience with out of work federal employees.
