The Maryland House of Delegates voted 127 to 5 in passing HB355 on Friday. The bill would require a curriculum for grades 6 through 8 that would promote awareness of human and sex trafficking.  The bill was brought by Democratic Delegate Steve Johnson from Harford County. Republican Minority Leader Jason Buckel spoke in favor of the bill…

“I will tell you this – I don’t give a damn when it comes to sexual abuse – training, sexual trafficking training, people deserve to have this training, they deserve to be protected. Little girls, middle school girls, high school girls, regardless of where they go to school.”
