Snow Ball Supports Scholarships

The Western Maryland Health System Foundation is holding their annual Snow Ball event at the Cumberland Country Club on Saturday, January 24th. The theme for this year is Aurora – A Winter Night Awash in Brilliance. Snow Balls to support efforts of the local healthcare system have taken place since 1957. In addition to dinner and dancing, there is a silent auction. The foundation’s Sharon Cosgrove says this year, funds raised will go to help future nurses…
“Our Rising Nurses Scholarship is always going to be a wonderful benefit to our region, serving all of us. One day, one of those nurses is going to care for a family member.”
