State Funds to Support Small and Minority-Owned Businesses

Late last week, Governor Wes Moore announced $3 million from the Maryland Small Business Development Financing Authority will go toward assistance in small and minority-owned business growth.  The funding includes loans and equity investments that will help six businesses create 72 new jobs and retain 28 workers. The funding can also be used for equipment, real estate, inventory, renovations, and working capital.
