Steve Bazarnic to Receive Top Award from Dapper Dan

The Dapper Dan Club of Allegany County has announced that Steve Bazarnic will receive the club’s top award.  Bazarnic, the longtime baseball coach at Allegany College of Maryland, was recently honored with the NJCAA Coaches Legacy Award.  He was also named to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Hall of Fame Class of 2026.  Bazarnic also won the top award in 1984 and 2011.  The Dapper Dan Sports Awards Banquet is set for May 17 at 4 p.m. at the Ali Ghan Shrine Club.
