Summons Served for Hit and Run on Holland Street

On July 23, 2026, Cumberland Police Department Officers responded to the 600 block of Holland Street for a hit and run. The victim was able to photograph the suspect vehicle and officers were able to identify the driver as David Painter. An application for charges was submitted to the District Court Commissioner and a summons was issued. On July 28, 2026 Painter was served the summons and was released pending trial.
