Tax Free Week Offers Savings For Families

Back-to-school shopping is heating up as families prepare for fall classes to begin. Maryland’s annual Shop Maryland Tax Free Week will run from August 9^th through the 15^th with qualifying clothing and footwear priced $100 or less and the first $40 of any backpack purchase being exempt from the state’s 6% sales tax.
