Teens Uncertain About Spotting AI Scams

A nationwide report from the Better Business Bureau estimates Americans will lose about $119 billion dollars annually to online scams and fraud. Kelsey Souter of Upswing Research says one in three Americans feels less confident about spotting scams than they did a year ago. She also points to a Microsoft survey that shows scams are not only targeting older adults, but that young people are also vulnerable…
“Ninety-one percent of the teens that they surveyed said that they are concerned about A-I, and within that, 77% say they are very worried about A-I based scams in particular.”
