Traffic Arrest

On Sunday, October 11, 2026, Cumberland Police Department Officers responded to Interstate 68 in the area of Patterson Avenue for the report of a motor vehicle crash. Upon their arrival, contact was made with the operator of a silver vehicle, Deandre Payton. Through the crash investigation, it was learned that Payton was operating an uninsured vehicle. He was cited for driving a vehicle without insurance and released pending his trial in district court.
