Trooper 5 Medevacs Child in LaVale

A 6-year-old suffered a head injury after falling approximately 30 feet from a second-story window at Super 8 Motel on National Highway Wednesday evening. Maryland State Police Trooper 5 transported the child to WVU Children’s Hospital, a pediatric trauma center on the campus of Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. The condition of the child remains unavailable. The Allegany County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
