The Allegany County Commissioners authorized the Department of Public Works to enter into a $35,000 contract with The Engineering, Architectural, and Designing Services Group – EADS – to work on a valuation of Maryland Water Service utilities.  While the requested paperwork from the system is still being evaluated, Public Works Director Adam Patterson, requested the funds to begin the valuation process that aligns with the County’s power of eminent domain…

“In preparation for the data, I reached out to EADS about eight weeks ago and asked them about their capabilities and experience in doing this type of effort—valuating a water and sewer system in both the Bel Air community and also in Highland Estates.”
