Virginia Avenue Trespassing Arrest

On Sunday, August 16, 2026, Cumberland Police Department Officers responded to a business in the 400 Block of Virginia Avenue for the report of a male trespassing and attempting to solicit money from customers. Upon the Officers’ arrival, they learned the male was Malik Freeman and had fled the area. Several hours later, Officers responded to a different business in the same area for the report of Freeman soliciting in the area. Contact was made with Freeman, who was then trespassed from the businesses. Shortly after, Officers responded a third time and located Freeman in the area. He was placed under arrest for trespassing and transported back to PH for processing. He was released on a criminal citation pending his trial.
