WARRANT ARREST

On Sunday, January 11th, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Brittany Nicole Wickard. The warrant was issued as a result of a private citizen filing for charges against Wickard at the Allegany County District Court Commissioner’s Office. She was later seen by a District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance, and remanded to the Allegany County Detention without bond.

Charges: Arrest Warrant- Child Abuse 2nd Degree Custodian, Neglect of Minor, Assault 2nd Degree

BENCH WARRANT ARREST
On Sunday, January 11th, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Bonnie Eardeen Williams on an active bench warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on January 8th,2026. On that date, it is alleged that Williams failed to appear in District Court for a prior CDS related charge of possession of CDS Paraphernalia. Williams was transported to the Allegany County Detention Center for an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner. She was later released on her own recognizance.

BENCH WARRANT ARREST
On Sunday, January 11th, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Tiffany Lee Newcomb on an active bench warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on January 9th,2026. On that date, it is alleged that Newcomb failed to appear in District Court for a prior CDS related charge of possession of CDS. Newcomb was transported to the Allegany County Detention Center for an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner. She was later released after posting a $2,000 bond.
