WARRANT SERVED AND CDS ARREST

On Thursday, January 8, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department served a fugitive warrant on Michael Caswell Jr. The warrant was issued through Mineral County, WV for Assault and Destruction of Property. Caswell was arrested and found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and suboxone. He was issued citations for the drug violations and transported to the Allegany County Detention Center to await extradition.
