Washington County officials were able to meet with Homeland Security via a Zoom call to get more information about the planned ICE facility in Williamsport.  Officials say the location is not for long-term detention but rather a processing facility where detainees would be held for up to seven days then transferred to other facilities. The Department of Homeland Security said the location will have in-house medical staff to serve an expected average population of 500 daily.  Attorney General Anthony Brown has filed suit to hall the project.
