West Virginia Launches Home Energy Rebate Programs

Through federal programs, West Virginia has been allocated $88 million dollars for home energy rebate programs.  In the pilot phase, over 300 applications were received for assistance. Governor Morrisey said the program will help West Virginia families through home upgrades and energy savings costs of up to $4.5 million in total annual savings…

“Unlike many other states, qualifying low-income West Virginia families are going to be able to pay nothing out of pocket for eligible improvements within the program limits. And there are options for moderate income families as well.”
