West Virginia Sales Tax Holiday Through August 3

West Virginia is helping families with savings on back-to-school supplies through Monday with its annual sales tax holiday. The state is waiving its 6% sales tax on clothing, footwear, school supplies as well as laptops under $500. Governor Patrick Morrisey said the state continues to support its families…
“The number one issue we have to address is making life more affordable for our families right here in the Mountain State. And I’m committed to doing that. So this 6% is important – the sales tax holiday, the income tax cut, the Trump tax cuts, and then all the things we’re trying to do to invest to make everyday life more affordable for our citizens.”
