West Virginia Welcomes Amazon

Governor Patrick Morrisey celebrated the opening of Amazon’s first operations facilities in West Virginia Wednesday, bringing employment and faster delivery times to communities across the state. The governor said Amazon’s opening builds on record-breaking private sector investment for the state…
“West Virginia’s broken every record that existed from an economic development perspective. Over twelve and a half billion dollars, that’s a minimum by the way, twelve and a half billion dollars minimum, and over 11,000 projected jobs. All those people that said no, it’s not happening? It’s happening.”
