West Virginia Wins Firearms Suit

????
Kathy Cornwell

A federal judge has ruled in favor of West Virginia and 14 other states in a lawsuit challenging the National Firearms Act.  The NFA was established by an act of congress and assesses a $200 tax stamp which can make regulated items such as suppressors, short-barreled rifles, and short-barreled shotguns cost-prohibitive.  Rob Fout from The Gun Shop says there is no need for extra regulations…

“The suppressors are not firearms and short-barreled shotguns, and short-barreled rifles are simply that.  They are short-barreled firearms.  So, they shouldn’t really be classified under a completely different set of complex paperwork and registration requirements.”
