Westernport Elementary Preparing For Move-In

The impact of last May’s flooding in Westernport continues almost a year later for its elementary school. Westernport Elementary students will be excused from classes on Tuesday, March 31^st. That day will be the opportunity for staff to rearrange classrooms and move furniture and supplies to the renovated first floor that was damaged by flooding. There will be no virtual learning for students that day and the Maryland Department of Education has approved the county’s plan.
