WV General Assembly Closes Saturday

The House and Senate of West Virginia’s legislature is busy amending, approving, and sending for signature bills to Governor Patrick Morrisey. The legislature has taken up over 1,300 bills since the 60-day session started in February.  Key initiatives this year have been tax cuts, economic development, immigration enforcement, and stabilizing the childcare industry.  The legislature will adjourn its 87^th assembly at midnight on Saturday.
