COACH MILLER TO RETURN

A familiar voice is returning to the WCBC-AM broadcast booth this fall, as former Bishop Walsh Coach Paul Miller will join Jim Zamagais, Rock Cioni and Mike Connelley for high school football coverage on AM 1270.

That team will continue the long running coverage of the entire Allegany High School schedule and select Fort Hill Sentinel games.

Former Allegany Coach Tim Kane will be moving to Classic Hits 107 this fall, teaming with Nate Hayes and Coach Bill Cessna for coverage of Frankfort High School Football.

Football practice starts early next month, with the first games a little over a month away. High school football opens on Classic Hits 107 August 29 as Frankfort hosts Moorefield.  Allegany opens its season September 5 at St. Charles.

WESTERN MARYLAND STAGS IN ACTION SATURDAY

Semi-pro football continues at Greenway Avenue Stadium Saturday at 7 p.m. as the Western Maryland Stags host the North Neck Rivermen.
