City Police Serve Arrest Warrant & Criminal Summons

On August 12, 2019 Cumberland City Police served an arrest warrant on Brandon Harley Williams, age 19 of Cumberland, Maryland.  The warrant was issued after officers from the Cumberland City Police Department responded to Jane Frazier Village on July 12, 2019 for a reported Robbery.  During an investigation into the matter, officers learned from the victim that he was assaulted by several males near the playground.  During the altercation his backpack containing all of his electronic devices was stolen.  Williams was transported to the Cumberland City Police Department for processing.  Williams was processed, served and taken before the District Court Commissioner.  Williams was held in the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.

Charges: Robbery, 2nd Degree Assault and Theft.

 

Criminal Summonses Served

On August 12, 2019 Cumberland City Police served two criminal summonses related to a disturbance on August 11, 2019.  Daniel Guy Bohrer, age 44 of Cumberland, Maryland and Angelique Nicole Stewart, age 29 of Cumberland, Maryland.  During the August 11th incident, officers responded to 215 Maryland Avenue for Bohrer and Stewart causing a disturbance.  Both subjects were separated and advised to keep the peace.  Officers informed both subjects of their rights in filing for charges at District Court.  Charges were applied for by both subjects resulting in two criminal summonses being issued.  Bohrer and Stewart were served on this date and released pending a trial date in District Court.
