Cumberland Gas Prices Holding Steady

June 26th, 2021 by WCBC Radio

Maryland gas price averages increased overnight, as did the national average, after little movement over the last few days. Drivers are likely to see minimal fluctuations in prices through the weekend, however, increasing crude prices, while gas demand remains high, are likely to push pump prices higher ahead of the Independence Day holiday weekend. Today’s national gas price average is $3.08, up a penny from one week ago, five cents higher than one month ago and 91 cents more than one year ago.  Maryland’s average is $2.98, up two cents from last week, four cents less than a month ago and 79 cents more than last year.
