Senator George C. Edwards has received an 83% pro-business legislator rating by Roll Call in 2019. Roll Call is a 36 year old non-partisan report that produces statistics on how members of the Maryland General Assembly are voting on issues that affect the economy and job creation in Maryland.

Where in the hell is all the jobs that he helped create by vote in our neck of the State? This report sounds like a joke to me??

There’s a fine distinction to be made here. Edwards is pro business, only, not pro worker. He is just one of the Western Maryland Delegation to push for and continue to push for keeping wages below the rest of the State and the Country by trying to block the minimum wage increases in Allegany and Garret counties. Our own little backward pocket of Appalachia in the 21st Century.
