Governor Hogan says Maryland Handling COVID Surge

Earlier this week, Maryland Governor Larry Hogan called on the FDA to give full approval for COVID-19 vaccinnes. Hogan said the state conducted a survey, and that the number one response people gave for not getting a vaccine is because it isn’t FDA approved. Despite no FDA approval, Hogan said about 80% of state employees are vaccinated. As of Thursday, Hogan said Maryland has issued more than 7.3 million vaccines, stating that while Maryland is experiencing the delta surge, it is not nearly as severe as many other states…
