Longtime, award winning Cumberland Times News columnist Jim Goldsworthy has passed away. A friend of the family has confirmed the news. No details about funeral arrangements have been announced.

    Will truly miss reading and knowing he is no longer with us. Mr. Goldsworthy had a unique style of writing that was down to earth. He was a credit to his Appalachian roots.
    Sadly there is not much holding CTN together as a newspaper anymore.
