Local March Organized for Juneteenth Today

The Allegany County branch of the NAACP has organized a  Juneteenth March and Prayer Vigil scheduled for this (Friday) morning.  Organizers are requiring anyone wishing to participate in the march to register beginning at 10 at St. Paul’s on Smallwood Street. NAACP President Carmine Jackson tells WCBC News the march will get underway at 11 a.m. and proceed to Cumberland’s City Hall where there will be a peaceful celebration and reflection…
