Montana Provides New Allegany HS Project Update

Since last month’s groundbreaking ceremony- construction crews have been working at a steady pace on site preparation for the new Allegany High School.  After five years of planning, a new $51 million, 715-student Allegany High School will be constructed on Haystack Mountain at the site of the former Sacred Heart Hospital.  Located on Sedgwick Street, the current Allegany High School opened in 1926. The outdated facility has been in use for 90 years and still heats with an enormous coal-fired boiler.
