President Trump will participate in Flight 93 9-11 Service

President Donald Trump will deliver remarks during the Sept. 11 observance ceremony on Tuesday at the Flight 93 National Memorial, the National Park Service confirmed Friday. Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke will also speak at the ceremony.

Former Gov. Tom Ridge, the first secretary of Homeland Security, will be the keynote speaker at the Tower of Voices dedication on Sunday.

The ceremonies will honor the 40 passengers and crew members of Flight 93 on the 17th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

The $6 million Tower of Voices project was funded by a grant from the National Park Foundation.

The dedication ceremony is open to the public and participants include Ridge, national co-chairman of the Flight 93 National Memorial fundraising campaign; Calvin Wilson, brother-in-law of First Officer Leroy Homer and former federal advisory commissioner for Flight 93 National Memorial; Paul Murdoch, architect of the Flight 93 National Memorial; the Rev. Robert Way; U.S. Air Force Singing Sergeants; and National Park Service Honor Guard.

The 17th annual September 11 Observance will begin at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at the Memorial Plaza.
