The Salvation Army has set the dates for families to complete Christmas assistance applications. All applications must be completed in person between 9 a.m. and noon.
The Allegany/Garrett County deadline has passed with the Cumberland. Distribution: set for Dec. 20.
• Hampshire County: Oct. 2-3, Bank of Romney Community Building, 95 E. Main St., Romney, West Virginia. Distribution: Dec. 18.
• Mineral County: Oct. 9-10, Mineral County Health Department, 541 Harley O. Staggers Drive, Suite 1, Keyser, West Virginia. Distribution: Dec. 19.
Applicants must provide a photo ID, Social Security cards, proof of address, income and expenses for all household members. Only children 12 and under are eligible for toy assistance.
