School Board will ask state to remove Wayne Foote

December 22nd, 2018 by WCBC Radio

At a special Friday afternoon meeting that lasted just ten minutes, the Allegany County Board of Education voted 4-1 to formally request the state board of education to remove Wayne Foote from the local board for willful neglect of duty and misconduct. The official resolution points to acts of intimation and harrassment by Foote against board personnel as well as breaching the confidentially of school board executive sessions. The vote, likely the last taken by the current board, saw members Sara Beth Bittinger, Tammy Fraley, Nick Hadley and Laurie Marchini vote in approval of the resoultion- with Foote voting in opposition. Board member Marchini said that there have been attempts over the years to resolve the issues internally, but those ultimately fell on deaf ears

Or maybe the current board is trying to dilute the new members of the boards strength. Mr. Foote is just fine thank you. Don’t plot against the will of the voters.

The local coven has conjured help from their comrades to the east to reverse the pesky voter’s decision. We have our own petite deep state; how cosmopolitan!

Well, well, well, Kangaroo Court at it’s best in Allegany County, MD. I’ve been a resident and a registered voter in Allegany County for over 50 years. This is the dirtiest and most egregious action by a political group in my memory. I voted for Mr. Foote, and I expect him to be a fully functional Board member for the next four years. Actually, thousands voted for Mr. Foote as their choice for the next four years. I resent four cronies dictating and negating my vote and the votes of thousands of Allegany County residents. Want to see adult bullying? Look no further than the current Board members, save Mr. Foote. And, how phony of Ms. Marchini to state that she has wrestled with this matter. The only thing she has wrestled with was how quickly she could dispose of Mr. Foote, and attempt to cast a dark cloud over Bob Farrell. I heard from a usually reliable source that Ms. Marchini will submit her name to the Governor as a replacement should Mr. Foote be dismissed. I can only hope that Mr. Foote’s legal counsel will attempt to seek an injunction until Mr. Foote has adequate opportunity to be heard by more mature body of people who have no personal stake in the matter. Mr. Foote, let your supporters know if you should open a GoFundMe account.

It is interesting that the same crew that has been screeching for Dr. Cox to be fired – for no apparent, documetable cause – are upset because a board member may be removed for documented cause. Welcome to Allegany County. This is what we do.
