WV Legislature Winding Down

March 2nd, 2020 by WCBC Radio

The West Virginia Legislature heads into the final week of its 60 day session Monday, and among the issues on the House calendar is a measure which would prohibit municipalities from limiting a person's right to possess certain weapons.

The bill is among those targeted at stopping government from infringing on Second Amendment Rights.

West Virginia Democratic Senators have scheduled a press conference for Monday at the State Capitol to discuss legislation surrounding public health issues.

The presser will be held at 9:30 AM in the Governor’s Conference Room, and will be led by Berkeley County Senator John Unger and Boone County Senator Ron Stollings.
