Bench Warrants Served

On Thursday, April 16, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on William Wight. The warrant was issued as the result of Wight failing to appear in court on an original charge of Trespass-Railroad Property. He was arrested and found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine, suspected fentanyl, and drug paraphernalia. Wight was seen by a District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing. Wight was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on a $1,000 percentage bond.

BENCH WARRANTS SERVED
On Thursday, April 16, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department served two bench warrants on Brittany Lambert. The warrants were issued as the result of Lambert violating probation on original charges of Theft: $100 to Under $1500 and Credit Card: Steal Another’s. She was arrested and later seen by a District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing. Lambert was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on two $100 bonds.
