On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department served three bench warrants on Michelle Lynn Porter. The warrants were issued due to Porter failing to comply with court orders. She was originally charged with: Assault-2nd Degree (x2), CDS: Possess-Not Cannabis (x2), Trespass-Posted Property, Obstructing & Hindering, Fraud-Per. Ident. Avoid Pros, Abuse/Neglect Reporting, Neglect of Minor (x2), Reckless Endangerment, Contribute to Cond of Child (x2). Porter was arrested and seen by a District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing. At the conclusion, Porter was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.

On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant and an arrest warrant on David McCauley. The bench warrant was issued as the result of McCauley violating probation where he was originally charged with Assault-2nd Degree. The arrest warrant was issued as the result of an incident that occurred on July 15, 2025 at 5:24 PM when police responded to a residence in the 900 block of Gay Street for an assault. Officers contacted two alleged victims who reported that McCauley entered the residence uninvited and assaulted them. After further investigation, police filed for charges against McCauley at the District Court of Allegany County. McCauley was arrested and transported to Central Booking. He was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.

She was originally charged with: Disorderly Conduct, Disturb the Peace/Disorderly. Rice was seen by a District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing. At the conclusion, Rice was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.
