Fire Marshal Investigating Fires In Allegany & Washington Counties

The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s office is investigating two fires from over the weekend. The first occurred Saturday afternoon in Hagerstown where a 3-story residence received one million dollars in damage from a fire. Reports indicate the fire started in the home’s garage. A second fire on Loartown Road in Frostburg Saturday displaced three individuals. An interior room on the home’s first floor was the point of origin for the fire.
