ARC Funding Secured For Projects

U.S. Senators Chris Van Hollen and Angela Alsobrooks and Congresswoman April McClain Delaney announced $685,160 in federal funding from the Appalachian Regional Commission for economic development, education, and infrastructure projects in Allegany and Garrett Counties. Funding will go to Allegany College, Frostburg State University, Garrett County Commissioners, the Embassy Theater, and the Cumberland Economic Development Corporation. Congresswoman Delaney remarked that pursuing federal funds for these ventures that will bring culture, critical infrastructure, and tourism to this beautiful region of our state.
