CCA Debunks Cannabis User Driving Myth

The Virginia Cannabis Control Authority found that one in three Virginians believe people who use marijuana are safer drivers, but according to the CCA that is a myth.  Jamie Patten, Acting Chief of the Authority, says cannabis impairs reaction times on the road.  Maryland and Virginia penalties for impaired driving can be the same as a DUI.  When using cannabis, Patten says understanding how the body reacts is important when driving…
