West Second Street Burglary Arrest

On, Monday April 27, 2026, at 12:30 AM the Cumberland Police Department were dispatched to the 100 block of West Second Street for a breaking and entering of an abandoned property. Upon arrival officers observed several no trespassing signs on the exterior of the property. Officers located an unsecured door to the property. Officers located Todd Riley Jr inside and placed him under arrest. Riley was transported to the Allegany County Detention Center. Riley is awaiting a hearing before a District Court Commissioner at this time.

CHARGES: Trespassing posted property, Burglary 4th Degree
