Trespassing Railroad Property Arrest

On Saturday, May 9, 2026 at approximately 9:56 AM, an officer of the Cumberland Police Department was on patrol in the area of the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad when he observed two males in an area which is posted against trespassers. The males were identified as Daniel Jefts and Tyler Sneden. They were arrested and transported to police headquarters. Jefts and Sneden were issued a criminal citation and released pending trial.
