Economic Development News For West Virginia

A major economic development milestone for West Virginia’s industrial sector is on the way as global engineering group Sandvik and Alpha Metallurgical Resources have agreed to establish a manufacturing presence in the state. A $25 million investment is expected to create at least 120 new jobs at a new 100,000 square feet facility primarily focused on rock bolt and resin capsule manufacturing, but with potential to expand the product offering over time.
