Bench Warrants Served

On Monday, May 18, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Melvin Mauris.  The warrant was issued due to Mauris failing to appear in court.  He was originally charged with Unauthorized Removal of MV.  Mauris was arrested and seen by a District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing.  At the conclusion, Mauris posted a $2,500 unsecured personal bond.

On Monday, May 18, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Seth England.  The warrant was issued due to England failing to appear in court on original traffic charges.  He was arrested and seen by a District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing.  At the conclusion, England was released on his personal recognizance.
