The City of Cumberland will be partnering with Allegany County and Allegany College of Maryland to continue with phase two of the Willowbrook Outdoor Wellness Complex.  A total of $200,000 in City funds will be available for an expansion including a turf field, two grass fields, and parking.  City Administrator Jeff Silka told the Mayor and Council the City’s contribution to the project is an asset for the community…

“They’re gonna put an MoU together to kind of plan and operate with an ordinance from the City, the County and I think with the college.  So, as we’re a stakeholder in it, we’ll be able to have say in it.  When it’s not in use, there is going to be public access to it.”
